Dodgers Announce Starting Pitchers Down Under

The Los Angeles Dodgers took on the Giants to day in Spring Training and fell 3-2.

LA scored their runs thanks to an error by San Fran’s first baseman Brandon Belt and a walk. Not the best way to practise scoring runs.

Kershaw got the start for the Dodgers and gave up 2 runs on a home run to Hicks to score 2 in the second inning. Clayton went 5 innings with 5 hits, 2 earned runs and a K. His spring ERA is now 10.00 and he will need to tighten things up before Australia.

Dee Gordon and Alex Guerrero both played second base today but neither made a good claim to be the starter as they both went 0-2 and none made any real exceptional plays.

Hits to AJ Ellis and Puig will give the fans something to cheer about come the start of the season.

After the game the Dodgers management made their minds up on who will pitch in Australia and it will be Kershaw on the 22nd and Hyun Jin Ryu on the 23rd.

Greinke was ruled out to the calf sprain he suffered last week while pitching.
