Sunday saw Dan Haren go up against Cahill and, already having an 0-3 start to the year, the Arizona pitcher’s season got a whole lot worse giving up 6ER in just 4IP.
Some more good news was Alex Guerrero who, coming off the DL with a strained oblique, hit a 3 run home run, a single and a double in AAA Albuquerque’s 8-3 loss on Sunday. Alex drove in all 3 of the runs that the team scored and looked in fine form in his first game back, not making an error at second base.

Dee Gordon stole a career high 4 bases in the win and the team drew 6 walks and Yasiel Puig added another stolen base to Dee’s to make it 5. Dee stole on base with out a pitch being thrown when reliever Randall Delgado kicked at the rubber and was looking down.
Other home runs in the 3rd game came from Matt Kemp and Juan Uribe but it was matched by one from Eric Chavez, a solo shot, and a 3 run HR by Mark Trumbo off Jamey Wright who left a breaking ball up a little too high.
Kenley Jansen threw superbly for the save, his fourth for the year as he hit a season high 100MPH on the stadium’s speed gun. He struck out 2 in his one inning of work.
Ryu (2-1), Greinke (3-0) and Haren (2-0) all started and got wins in the series to help their records for the year.
